Health And Meditation – How To Meditate With Music

Probably the most loved and certainly most listened to of all my iTunes playlists has to be the 300+ song “Anime” list, consisting of opening and ending themes. (Obviously, why would you be here?) Now, granted, I have songs from shows I’ve never seen, songs I’ve downloaded specifically for the singer– Hirano Aya, I’m looking at you– and others are from shows I’ve absolutely loved and adored and thrown the songs to my friends to listen to.

This may sound corny and silly, but I will tell you again that it is neither! This method is a huge bomb that gives your mind clear-cut directives that will force it to re-program itself and begin to support the changes you want to make in your life.

Don’t get thrown off by confusing or unfamiliar ideas, words, or details. Many professors and some speakers use words that are unfamiliar. Or, they may talk about things that go over your head. The key is to not be distracted from the points the speaker is trying to make.

Be still and know. Spend time in stillness. Expand your vision of how to do this the easy way! That means in a way that brings you bliss. My practice is briskly walking at the Berkeley Marina, sometimes tuning into the breathtaking beauty of the sights and sounds that surround me…the spectacular views, the sound of the waves, seagulls flying, etc…sometimes listening to inspirational background music for videos. Whatever floats your boat.

I played Robot Unicorn Attack Heavy Metal for the first time today, I must say I wasn’t very impressed with the game, I think Ill just stick to the original RUA. First off the game is just a knock off of the second, the only thing changed are the graphics of the characters and platforms + the background music. Personally it seems like everything blends a little too much, I mean yeah there is a nice scoring system where those of us who get high scores can show off at the end and all, but overall I must say the game is rather… well repetitive.

The vision for Jubilant Nation, was seen in 2009 by founder William Stevens, Jr., who is a musician, songwriter and worship leader. Jubilant Nation was birthed in February 2012 and is a Gospel music ministry calle to minister to the Washington, DC area. The ensemble’s members come from various musical backgrounds in the music industry, many who have sung, played and shared the stage with many great recording artists.

Accept your flaws and do not feel like a failure. People make mistakes. You are human and will make mistakes throughout your life. Do not consistently beat yourself up for making mistakes or not being the best at something. Accept that you can’t always be perfect.

Understand that changing or transforming your mind is a PROCESS. Chances are, it’s not going to happen overnight. Change is hard but necessary if you’re going to achieve the goals you set out for yourself.
